Aoife Gallagher is a journalist, author and digital researcher focused on dissecting and understanding the online ecosystem that allows for lies, hate and division to spread.
Her research on misinformation and conspiracy networks has been featured in international publications including NPR, the Washington Post and the BBC, while her knowledge of the evolution of the Irish far right has positioned her as an expert on this topic in Ireland.
In 2022, she published her first book – Web of Lies: The Lure and Danger of Conspiracy Theories.
