Mental Health Media Awards 2020

Headline is pleased to announce the Mental Health Media Awards 2020! Submissions for this year’s awards open on Tuesday September 1 and remain open for the month of September. Please visit our new awards page for more info on key dates, this year’s categories and rules, including how to submit. In the meantime, here’s a recap of MHMA 2019 where you can read about the ceremony, shortlisted nominees and the judges.

Headline continues to recognise and support Irish media professionals as they do the important and challenging work involved in creating awareness and reducing stigma in mental health reporting. The MHMA are a key part of this effort. Encouraging excellence in reporting standards and reducing stigma around representation of mental ill health in the media is key to improving mental health literacy.
