Media Literacy Monday Webinar: Meeting the media literacy needs of children and young people

This webinar will explore the question of how to support the media literacy needs of children. It will include contributions from the following:

- Professor Brian O’Neill presenting some of the findings from the recent NACOS report.

- Andrea Dillion (Blackrock College School Librarian and Secretary to the School Libraries Group of the LAI) providing practical advice and guidance on how school librarians and teachers can support media literacy in schools.

- Webwise outlining the forthcoming Safer Internet Day campaign and the work they do to support parents, teachers and young people to manage internet safety issues and promote critical thinking.

This webinar will be of particular interest to parents, teachers, school librarians and anyone involved in the care of young people.
