SMILES is a media literacy project containing lesson plans and videos to help young people combat fake information. Collaborating partners from the Netherlands, Spain, and Belgium developed and tested innovative fake news interventions in secondary schools, led by teachers and librarians, to evaluate their effectiveness in tackling disinformation.
