Have your say! 10-Year Strategy for Adult Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy

What do you think are the challenges and opportunities for Ireland in relation to adult literacy, numeracy and digital literacy? How do you think we can create an environment where all adults in Ireland have the necessary literacy, numeracy and digital literacy to fully participate in society?

These are the questions that SOLAS, the Further Education and Training Authority, want you to help them answer as part of a public consultation on developing a new 10-year Adult Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy (ALND) Strategy.

SOLAS want to create an environment where all adults in Ireland have the necessary literacy, numeracy and digital literacy to fully participate in society.

The Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science has asked SOLAS to develop the ALND Strategy and SOLAS are encouraging anybody with an interest in improving literacy, numeracy and digital literacy for adults to make a submission to this consultation on the development of the ALND Strategy.

Full details of the various ways in which you can have your say, as well as detailed information on the online consultation process can be found on the SOLAS website https://www.solas.ie/alnd-strategy/

SOLAS would like this consultation to be as wide as possible so please do share this invitation with your networks and, if applicable, with your clients and service users.

Please note that this consultation closes at 6pm on Thursday 31st December 2020.
