DCU Centre for Climate & Society inaugural conference - Climate Action: Ireland's Role in a Changing World
The DCU Centre for Climate & Society is a new research centre focused on societal responses to the climate crisis.
This inaugural one-day conference will feature a range of speakers from business, the media, policy-making, and academia. The three conference panels will address:
- How the media can respond to the climate challenge
- Climate policy-making in a turbulent world
- What corporate climate leadership looks like

The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
President Michael D. Higgins will deliver the keynote address.
The event will be followed by the launch of Prof. Pat Brereton's new book.
