With only three weeks to go until the MLI Awards close for entries, this is your official reminder to not leave it to the last minute! Its work was built on the efforts of over 50 independent fact-checking organisations, part of the EDMO fact-checking network, and the 14 EDMO hubs monitoring disinformation at the local and national level.<br><a href=\"https:\/\/medialiteracyireland.us21.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=d9f39928f82e2f4332ff67957&amp;id=39faf6e189&amp;e=bb6008ae77\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">More<\/a><br>&nbsp;<br><strong>Grants available for Cross-Border Collaborative Investigations<\/strong><br><a href=\"https:\/\/medialiteracyireland.us21.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=d9f39928f82e2f4332ff67957&amp;id=42dbc05d31&amp;e=bb6008ae77\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Free Press Unlimited<\/a>&nbsp;(FPU) is inviting applications for cross-border collaborative investigative stories. Ten grants of \u20ac10,000 each will be awarded to teams of journalists to produce in-depth, impactful investigative journalism that crosses national borders and addresses critical issues affecting European societies. This open call for applications is part of the Collaborative and Investigative Journalism Initiative (CIJI).<br><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/medialiteracyireland.us21.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=d9f39928f82e2f4332ff67957&amp;id=1db9258e09&amp;e=bb6008ae77\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">More<\/a><\/strong><br>&nbsp;<br><strong>Could you be an MLI Speaker or Trainer?<\/strong><br>Due to a significant increase in the number of invitations for MLI to participate in conferences, deliver talks and provide training, we are investigating the possibility of creating a panel of MLI speakers and trainers from the MLI membership who could, on occasion, be called upon to&nbsp;represent MLI at events and talks.
